Bread Winners Bakery and Café makes you grow nostalgic about home. It bakes bread the way your grandmother or mother baked them. Homely and unpretentious this neighborhood café gives you a comfortable and casual atmosphere.

It's always filled with people. The café threw open its doors to the public in 1994. The moment you cross its threshold the sweet aroma of freshly baked bread greets your nostrils.

You can try an amazing array of bread, pastries and deserts. From this season, you can savor their delicious king cakes. The dining room is small but cozy ideal for a close gathering of friends. You can also eat at their courtyard and atrium enjoying the fresh breeze. This bakery has been dubbed the “Best Interior Garden Dining in 2000” by the Dallas Observer.

Bread Winners Uptown is located on historic McKinney Avenue and now they have a new location in Inwood Village on Lovers Lane. In addition to breakfast, lunch, and dinner, they also serve weekend brunch.
