Somehow, mass media seems to have missed out on playing up the role of the Dallas Jews on the city. The population of Dallas Jews is concentrated mainly in the eastern plus northern parts of the city. The Texas Jewish Post (which is being published by the family of Rene Wisch) began being published back in year 1947. This paper focuses more on the Zionist movement (unlike the Dallas Observer which concentrates on Dallas political issues.) And even though the Dallas Observer expresses ideas to the general Dallas community, the Texas Jewish Post tries to broadcast Jewish concerns to the city community and beyond the state boundaries.
