Majestic Theater

This is one of the most prestigious venues of Dallas. The lone survivor of the 1920s movie palaces, it has added to the charm of Art District. It was one of the most ornate and opulent theaters of its time. The attractive Renaissance Boroque exterior house a stunning interior replete with crystal chandelier, columns, generous applications of gold leaf, fantastic molding and grand staircases.

This venue seats just over 1,600. It hosts the Majestic Broadway Series during the Dallas Summer Musicals festival as well as the world- renowned Dallas Black Dance Theater. Located on the edge of downtown Dallas, the Majestic Theater is convenient to downtown hotels and entertainment areas.

At the top of the grand staircases overlooking the main lobby is the Terrace Room which is designed to accommodate a variety of events such as wedding receptions, meetings, company parties and dinners. The Terrace Room can comfortably accommodate a dinner party for 130 or reception up to 220 guests. With extensive catering capabilities, the Terrace Room can be a special location for intimate events.
