West End Cattle Drive

The West End brings to you the story of the growth of Dallas. It was Dallas's first true historical district. It was here that the story of the Dallas originated.

One of its prime attractions is its Cattle Drive. It is a free for all, simple fun and frolic. There is something for everyone. Each year, the West End Association sponsors a fall cattle drive up Market Street in downtown Dallas.

The Drive vibrates with life and also helps to showcase the culture of the West End. Your kids will revel in the old west gun fights which take a page from the gun fights of the Wild West where every man possessed a gun and knew how to shoot.

In the general store you will get hand crafted items of rare beauty which will enhance the show of your house. Lovers of hot and spicy food can take part in the Hot Salsa Taste Off. Beside food and drinks there is entertainment galore.
