Club Dada is the pride of Ellum. Its fame is legendary. It is the place from where the famous Edie Brickell and New Bohemians cut their teeth. Club Dada is located in the heart of the Deep Ellum arts district, just east of downtown Dallas on Elm Street. It is one of the oldest and varied clubs in the city. It offers something for everyone whether you want to nostalgically recall old times or dance to the latest chart busters.
There are two indoor stages, one outdoor stage and a large landscaped patio. Recently, the club has featured Internet band broadcasts, which are live onstage as their songs waft out over the Internet simultaneously. If you need a diversion visit the Far Bar Art Gallery which showcases work by local artist.
The club has a faded teal exterior with exotic tribal mask. It has one of the best patios in town. This landscaped patio is an oasis of serenity with trees and benches.
