Baby Doe's Matchless Mine

If you want something different, then dine at Baby Doe's Matchless Mine. This unique restaurant is designed to look like an old mine. It has rock walls, mine casts, tools and other novel decorations. Old wooden floors complete the rustic charm. To add to its originality a resident donkey greets you at the entrance.

It rests high above the plains of down town Dallas. The prices are steep, a price for originality. It is a place where you can dine occasionally for a change of scenario. The claustrophobic need not despair, however, since you won't be closed into a little cave. Huge windows overlook the downtown Dallas skyline, along with a good chunk of Interstate 35.

The delicious steaks and seafood are served in hearty portions. Try the beer Cheese Soup or Cheddar, Hand- Battered Fried Cheese for starters. Their Brunch buffet offers a lavish spread with over 100 items to choose from. Champagne, mimosas, and desserts are also presented on the brunch buffet and the food is fresh while the crowd is not too much to bear when filling your plate full of your favorites.
