New football stadium

A new season for the Dallas Cowboys opens this 2008, and it will be their last season to be played at the Texas stadium because a new football stadium is being built at Arlington, Texas. If all goes well, the new football stadium will be formally opened in 2009 when another new season for the Dallas Cowboys is unveiled. The new football stadium has been under construction since September 20, 2005 and will probably cost $1 billion when completed.

Funding for new stadium

When the Fall 2009 new season for the Dallas Cowboys does open, the new football stadium that will witness football games between that team and other National Football League teams will have a seating capacity of at least 80,000. That could rise to 100,000 maximum seating capacity. Funding for the new stadium’s construction was originally pegged at $1 billion but Arlington citizens opted to raise city taxes to help pay for their new football stadium.
